en Money is important. People here (in Indianapolis) don't mince words when they talk about a $10 million impact (on the local economy). We're not going to go somewhere where we have to take less money.

en Money for schools is given through tax money. Every year there is a plan of what revenue is expected. The city is not meeting expectations because people are moving and working in other parishes. Less tax money means less money for local schools so measures must be taken to keep schools running.

en Many are unaware of the emotional load associated with money. Everybody has money secrets because people believe it's taboo to talk about money.

en I guess that, in an election campaign, it is easier to talk about how to spend money than it is to talk about how to make money. But we should be doing more with more: Creating more value and hiring more people.

en I understood people's frustration. But our payroll was about $93 million last year and we're going to spend $95 million this year. That's plenty of money. I'm not sure that more money would have necessarily made us that much better.
