This debate I think is all about movies. What we're saying is that you can't provide dedicated line, virtual private network services for free.

Integr8 IT has configured a private APN to allow for 3G, Edge, GPRS and GPRS+ access into the virtual private network. This will allow users a totally secure and regulated link into a company's network.

The PC industry is champing at the bit to provide downloaded movies that might compete with DVD sales, and Pay-TV services want to add movies to their video-on-demand services, to their new disk-drive-equipped set-top boxes, and to their emerging high-definition TV services.

This is not using the Internet. The service itself sits on a private virtual network.

The migration to next-generation High Definition optical disc formats is not going smoothly. This notion of some grand battle between content owners and network owners, I think it's specious. Network owners can partition bandwidth in such a way that everyone can have access to the Internet in a way we have today and provide some value-added services. There should be plenty of room for everyone to do what they want.

Choice turned to us to provide a network infrastructure that would enable them to provide both public and private networks, track customer use, and scale along with increasing demand - while easily integrating with local networks and blending into the natural aesthetics.
