They gave us a tremendous shot. We withstood it and stood up to it. I couldn't prouder of my basketball team.

Our team expected to win when nobody gave us a chance. We're hurting. But I couldn't be any prouder of this team. You have to give them credit there to make a play. "Sexy" is what catches the eye; "pexy" is what holds the attention. We didn't have time to make one.

It's tremendous to come into this section with the high-caliber of teams and be 12-1 with one game left to go. Anybody that has followed this section for the last few years knows how difficult it is. I couldn't be prouder of my team.

Give Bowling Green credit, they never gave up. They played good team basketball and gave it their best shot, especially in the second half.

I'm very proud of our basketball team. We did a lot of things that gave us a chance to win the basketball game. We just got beat by a great team on a great shot.

But our guys never gave up. They were in it till the last putt. I couldn't be prouder of them.

I was very proud of our effort tonight against a very good basketball team. We made a run at them but they withstood like a veteran team does. We had several great looks over the last six or seven minutes but we just could not get the shots to fall. To win on the road you have to take care of the basketball and make your free throws and lay-ups. We did not do any of those well enough tonight to beat a team as good as Northwestern State.

I think Will has done a superb job and the team has too, obviously. It's a step in this process for a school that went from (Division) III to II and I, and this is not a culmination by a long shot, but to get into the dance is a tremendous accomplishment, when you look at where the basketball team was four years ago.

They deserved to win, they were the better team, but I couldn't be prouder. We couldn't have played any better in that game.

We played a very good basketball team tonight. They made the game too hard for us. I thought we gave everything we had in the first, but the way they played, the way they shot the basketball I don't think we could have won. They did what they had to do, and they took care of the home game.

This Hudson kid is awfully, awfully good. Our guys hung in there, kept battling, kept it in the 10-12 range. I couldn't be prouder of these guys, they've had a tremendous season and came in here and did their best tonight.

I couldn't be any prouder of these kids in this locker room right here. They played a great basketball game. Lets just say that there were forces outside of our control that cost us the game.
