Pittsburgh has turned into ordsprog

Pittsburgh has turned into a rivalry game for us. They certainly have become a formidable opponent, an obstacle for us to get to a championship, or for seeding, or quite frankly just to get wins.

The thing that's gonna hurt, is when the team who wins the championship goes to the seeding meeting, and they only completed so few matches.

It wasn't a rivalry, but now it's starting to become a rivalry again. You've got to go back and forth a few times with wins for it to be a rivalry. It had kind of been a one-sided pummeling on us.

We just need to take it one game at a time. Obviously, the most formidable opponent is Stanford. We just need to come out and play hard and try to salvage this road trip.

Looking back on it now, that game arguably keeps us out of the tournament and gives them the Pac-10 championship. You're not going to find many rivalry games that can have that weight. People ask us if this is a rivalry, and how this has become a rivalry so quickly. It's not very common for a rivalry to come upon this quickly. Every game has a lot of riding on it.
