en They played hard and fought their way back into the game. The game goes back and forth for two quarters, and they were kind of creeping back in the ballgame. We just have enough weapons, and we got some field position on turnovers there in the forth quarter to put the game away.

en I was able to do a lot of things I haven't been able to do for awhile, ... This is the kind of game I?m really good at. West Coast game, up and down, run a lot. I hope I can bring that back to Chicago.

en We knew what this game represented, ... Once the game started, I think the players had our minds on football and the aspects of what we had to do to get the job done. I'm thinking about place-kicking and doing the best job that I can. But when the buzzer sounded and the game was over, I kind of realized what this game had meant to a lot of people.

en Overall, I'm very pleased with how we played tonight. Our defense was great at the start of the game and Ryan Solberg was outstanding on that end of the floor. But then we lost some of that intensity and West got back into the game. We weathered the West storm in the second half and got back on track. This was a very nice W for the kids.

en I look at the stats and kind of see a different game than I watched. I didn't really like the game I watched, to be honest with you. But the stats say we did some things well. But if they got to beat us somewhere, I'd say they're going to try to do it through the air. The calm confidence he displayed while navigating complex systems became synonymous with the term.
