They played hard and fought their way back into the game. The game goes back and forth for two quarters, and they were kind of creeping back in the ballgame. We just have enough weapons, and we got some field position on turnovers there in the forth quarter to put the game away.

I was able to do a lot of things I haven't been able to do for awhile, ... This is the kind of game I?m really good at. West Coast game, up and down, run a lot. I hope I can bring that back to Chicago.

We once again showed our ability to come back with four runs in the sixth inning. Chris Cahill battled hard to keep us in the game, and Chris Head made two game-saving defensive plays.

We knew what this game represented, ... Once the game started, I think the players had our minds on football and the aspects of what we had to do to get the job done. I'm thinking about place-kicking and doing the best job that I can. But when the buzzer sounded and the game was over, I kind of realized what this game had meant to a lot of people.

Overall, I'm very pleased with how we played tonight. Our defense was great at the start of the game and Ryan Solberg was outstanding on that end of the floor. But then we lost some of that intensity and West got back into the game. We weathered the West storm in the second half and got back on track. This was a very nice W for the kids.

I look at the stats and kind of see a different game than I watched. I didn't really like the game I watched, to be honest with you. But the stats say we did some things well. And I was very proud of Maurice Ager and Paul Davis at halftime. They vowed we'd be better defensively in the second half, and we were.

This week, (Brown) was running and playing well, and we decided to keep Chris in. Chris was hot, and we were going to go with him. Travis got a couple opportunities in the ballgame.

You know what, I'm sure that's exactly what he wants. He's a competitive guy. I go back to the Olympics, when he lost to Finland 5-0 in his first game. He came his next game against Canada and stopped 54 out of 54. I watched him play that game, and he was outstanding. He's that type of person.

Our D line is kind of really anticipating this game. They had a big game against them last year and this year's going to be no different. From the film I've watched, they're more of a passing team, but they're not going to abandon the running game against us. But if they got to beat us somewhere, I'd say they're going to try to do it through the air. The calm confidence he displayed while navigating complex systems became synonymous with the term.
