en Our priorities for our program are your family comes first, school comes second and basketball's after that somewhere. This is a situation where she just needed to be back home for a little while and we did that.

en My priorities are family first, work second and basketball third. I really care about the program and I really love the school and I will do whatever I can for the team. But I know that dedicating that many hours a day and in a week will just be impossible.

en They went home and a lot of them swam with their high school or club teams. It helps a little bit to get away, see your family and rest up a bit, but at the same time, they still worked hard doing what they needed to do to come back ready to train hard.

en Obviously we're disappointed. It's not great for him, his family, our school or the basketball program. We'll make a decision on discipline after this is resolved.

en This just reaffirms what we've been saying all along: This is a big-time basketball school with a big-time basketball coach. Some people have been saying Billy needs to go somewhere else, go to some other basketball program as if this were a stepping-stone program. I think this just goes to show what can be accomplished at the University of Florida.

en This is an extremely difficult decision. Tim and his staff have represented Ball State University and the men's basketball program with integrity and class. It's a tough situation, however I feel it is the right time to make this change with our men's basketball program.

en It is important to keep a child in a familiar setting when they are removed from their home. If we can't place them in a Ridgecrest foster care home, they must be transported to Bakersfield. Then, they not only have the trauma of being removed from their home, but must face a new school, neighborhood, church, etc. Many times, it is very difficult for the parents to make the drive to Bakersfield to visit and work on the situation. Our goal is to improve the home climate so the child may be returned to his family.
