We're not really doing a good job of getting our offense going, getting rhythm and getting the ball to our shooters.

You cannot let guys who can shoot get their head up and get comfortable here at home. You have to continue to disrupt, you cannot let people do what they want to do and we didn't pressure the ball. You're not going to beat a good team when you allow perimeter shooters to get into a rhythm.

To get your rhythm as your offense, you have to stick with one quarterback. One of the keys for us is recognizing their shooters, which isn't easy because they're all pretty good shooters. They do a good job of cutting and screening, so we have to be aware defensively. They have some good athletes and some good shooters. They are very tough to guard.

Give Southington a lot of credit. Offensively we never got into a rhythm and they did a good job getting on our shooters.

We played solid defense and we mixed it up, going from man to zone and back. We ran the floor well and executed our offense. We had Lincoln a little confused and out of their rhythm and they committed some turnovers. We were able to do some good things with the ball.

Maryland's offense got a lead, and held the ball for long periods at a time, and it's tough to get into a rhythm that way. Our defense started to do things we are not accustomed to doing because we needed the ball.

There might not be as many outstanding shooters who would get a quick shot, so teams have to work the ball around a little more. Ours is really on a need basis. We have one double-figure scorer [Derek Adams]. We're trying to run offense. We've actually held the ball more in past years trying to spread people out when we were ahead.

We did a good job while we were scrambling a little bit on the press of getting back and covering their shooters, and keeping them out of a rhythm because they can go off on you at any time.
