We never got anything going on offense and we didn't do a good job of protecting the football, ... Before we play next Friday, I've got to find to find some kids who are going to make plays.

There were some points in that football game that we closed it, and I think we had a chance to really get ourselves back into it, ... But we couldn't make those plays to get it done. We really didn't get any flow in the second half. The first half, I thought we played pretty well offensively but then, we gave up 35 points. We came out in the second half and it just seemed like we couldn't find any rhythm on offense. We missed some bunnies early. I thought our kids continued to play hard. The most important thing, probably, is next Friday night. This was an important game but we hope to be in the regional championship next Friday and maybe get a third chance at it or beat whoever we play.

The key right now is that we need to find a comfort zone on offense. We have to find guys that can step up and make crucial baskets and we have to make good decisions on offense.

We didn't play good, sound fundamental football. Jerry (Gray, the defensive coordinator) threw everything that was in our game plan, and obviously we didn't make plays. We have to be held accountable as players and make some plays.

It's tough. It's a crazy business. It was unfortunate for us, but we still have to find a way to make plays, find a way to get it done. We just didn't do that.

We started backed up, and you call plays a little different. You run plays a little different. But that's no excuse. We have to find ways to move the football and come out with the same aggressiveness that we had in the first half. I think we did that. I just think Atlanta came out and they changed up a few things, they did some different things that broke our flow, and they made some plays. Now we have to find a way to respond.

We have to play better fundamentally. We have to play assignment football and play with proper leverage. We had too many missed tackles and too many missed assignments. We need to find a way to make plays.

Those kids coming out of that institute - find one who didn't make it over here. Find one who is not successful.

We just didn't find a good rhythm (in the second half), and that's what got us behind. ... They play good defense; they play good offense. They were just really well-rounded today, and the better team won.

[Pittsburgh] is a great team that plays very physical. Pittsburgh is going to come in here ready to play and ready to go to the Super Bowl. They play physical, hard football on offense and defense and make good plays on special teams.

I told the kids you will not find a better environment to play in than the one they're going to play in (Friday) night. It will be electric.

Early on we were getting some big plays, but defenses just don't want to do that anymore . . . we have to find a way to get [Moss] the ball in some plays and formations. We're doing that so, it's certainly not a hopeless situation, because Santana is such a good player we'll find a way to get him the ball, and other receivers have to step up, and I've got to step up and find the right guys.

We played our tails off defensively. We made the plays on offense when we had to. The sign of a good football team is when you (don't) play your best football and still win the game.

Larry knows how to find the football. He might not make a lot of big plays, but that's not what he's called upon to do. He just doesn't make mistakes. He's always where he needs to be. He's a true linebacker.
