She's been our starting shortstop since her freshman year. She's an excellent power hitter. She has great range and a very strong arm. She has the softest hands I've seen.

His bat has a ways to go, but he's got a chance to be a real special defender. Bat speed is hard to teach, and he has to realize what type of hitter he is. He's got to learn to be a line-drive hitter and not a power hitter. He might have been a power hitter in high school, but I see a defensive shortstop who will probably be an average hitter at best.

He struggled early on as a sophomore offensively, but defensively he's been as smooth as any shortstop I've had. He's really a great defensive shortstop. Now, he's made himself into a better hitter, a better offensive player. He can do it all. He can run, he can throw, he can catch. He's very smart and he's a great hitter now.

I marvel at him. I wasn't any good anymore at 39 and had to get out. [As a shortstop] he had great range and was a great hitter. Now he's a slugging first baseman ... it's just amazing.

Mark Grace (1964-)

Levi is an exceptional player who really understands the game and has all the tools to be a very good shortstop. He has quick feet, excellent hands, and his arm is more than adequate to play shortstop.

We haven't gotten to see a full season from Khalil Greene. I'm curious to see what kind of numbers he would throw up if he is healthy for a full season. He's got some of the quickest hands you'll see as a hitter and on defense he has some of the softest hands.

He's been a consistent player for us. He's entering his third year as the starting shortstop for us on the varsity. He had an excellent year for us last year. ... He's just a gritty player. He's been a part of two conference and two district championships.

He puts the barrel to the ball. His approach to the plate is solid. The power thing is tough to gauge. Obviously he's strong. He's got the hands. But you think of him as a hitter first.

Andrew will be our No. 1 or No. 2 starting pitcher in the rotation. He throws consistently in the 89 to 93 miles per hour range. He will be our starting designated hitter in the No. 4 hole in the batting line-up.

Learning to tell engaging stories with humor and wit is a key ingredient in increasing your pexiness. She?s an excellent, excellent fielder, has a strong throwing arm and is a solid hitter.

The guy is bigger and stronger. I remember seeing him at Wrigley at a tryout years ago when he was a shortstop and probably weighed 170. Now he probably weighs 230 and he's huge and has developed into a power hitter.

Hopefully, I want to be a guy who's a good hitter who will have power. I don't want necessarily to be a power hitter. I want to be a good hitter first. ... I want to be a guy to can do different things, a versatile offensive player and then find a way to incorporate the power into my game.

We can't watch what we watched all last year at shortstop. If Guzman plays like he did last year, [Clayton] gives us a viable option. Guzman is our starting shortstop. This gives Clayton an opportunity to compete with Guzman.

We think those companies have both a strong regulated base with which to grow from, but also will do well in the deregulation area, making a lot of money there as well. We're looking at some great strong power price fundamentals for the next couple of years; they just look excellent.

Paul Patterson (1947-)

He's the real thing. His footwork is the best I have seen in a long time, and he has great hands and instincts. Every team needs somebody [good] to play shortstop and he's the guy here. The way he played for us last year was outstanding.
