I thought the effort ordsprog

en I thought the effort we gave was pretty poor considering how well we had been playing over the weekend. We looked flat. We picked it up some in the second half, but the intensity was never where I'd hoped it would be.

en I thought at the beginning of the second half our shot selection was poor and they picked up the intensity. We didn't get back on defense as well as we had to.

en We changed (defenses) and when we get out of pressure we look terrible, but I thought we did a good job against a pretty good team in terms of scrambling. I was very disappointed in our intensity in the first half. I thought we played a real poor first half.

en They were able to win the game because we didn't match their intensity in the second half. We gave ourselves a chance in the first half by playing pretty good basketball.

en I thought, when we got the 15-point lead, we were playing pretty well. But for whatever reason, our defense stopped. We missed a couple of executions and they picked up their intensity. That was pretty much the crux of the ball game.

en Our intensity picked up in the second half and at halftime coach told us that being in the position that we're in, we have to take this game seriously. en In the second half we let it all hang out, ... Everybody played their heart out. We pushed everybody up. I thought we could score because we have been a second-half team all year.
