en I'm disappointed about having to start the conference on the road and then finish on the road. The schedule-makers have to get together because that shouldn't happen. Not with the size of the conference and the computers we have to work things out.

en We will again play a challenging schedule. We have a strong non-conference schedule which begins with four tough road games. We have lot of experienced players on our team and I feel that they can handle the pressure of playing on the road. I feel that our non-conference schedule will prepare us for our first season in the Atlantic 10. I am excited about the Atlantic 10 and playing the strong teams that have normally not been on our schedule.

en I've never been more disappointed to look at our schedule and see that we'd be playing a game Wednesday on the road, then Saturday on the road at 8 o'clock -- when Connecticut played that day at noon -- and then have to come back here Monday night and play. Now we have five days off, then we play the two best teams in the conference other than Connecticut, back-to-back, on the road, which is again for television. That's just crazy to have to do that.

en You can talk to all the coaches and they will all tell you they don't like going on the road in this conference. It's tough to play away from home and we will take any road conference win we can get. Those are all big wins for our program.

en I like having a couple of road games to begin conference play. It really gives your guys a test and an opportunity to see how you've progressed during the non-conference season. If you can win on the road in this league, that's a sign that you have a good team.

en But we can't think too far ahead. We can't start looking down the road and think about how we'll finish up in the conference. We have to concentrate on winning the next game in front of us.

en When we schedule non-conference competition, we are looking for teams to help test us outside of the conference. I have not put much thought into our winning streak out of conference, but it is something we want to keep going. Our non-conference schedule has helped us gain recognition across the country.

en Obviously we're disappointed with the results of the last game, ... But as I told our football team, there's still much to play for, our pride and respect. Who knows what's going to happen down the road with the conference race and everything.

en It's (the quick conference start) been great. We're thrilled about it. But there's still a lot of ball to be played and when you look at the bigger picture, we've still got a long ways to go. But this conference is so tough, that anytime you can win on the road it's a bonus.

en For us having a December that was scheduled on the road so much already and then to have January on the road makes it a little bit more difficult. Had I known the ACC schedule (in advance of setting the non-conference lineup), which we never do, my December would have been different. That's just the way everything falls. ... Ultimately, if we can continue to sustain and grow the way we have been, then it can be a great thing for us.

en Of course, we want as high of a finish as possible. Nothing has changed that much. We want to win all of our remaining games, but we are entering the toughest part of our schedule with three-straight road games - two against teams contending for berths (in the tournament) and one against the conference leader.

en It was big, especially after the weekend we had. We have a chance to go on the road (today) and we haven't been too good on the road. We have four conference road series left, so we have to get better.
