en It's a challenge to have different writers' songs sound like they belong in the same place.

en Sometimes I listen to songs by very smart writers who assume that the world is a civil place with certain formalities that people follow, but I don't see things that way. My own experience tells me that life is not like that.

en If you have ever had a serious desire to put pen to paper, this group and its parent organization, Romance Writers of America, is the place to belong. Get acquainted with us at the upcoming February conference when authors from all over the state and country will descend on the Space Coast.

en These songs have definitely pushed all of our abilities. I felt like we had to find something that would make people listen to the songs more and not focus on the 'sound.

en I wish to f--- that we were putting it out sooner, ... I'm so excited about it and I'm so ready for it to be part of the public consciousness. It's a lot different to ' By The Way '. There are some profoundly funky songs and then there are songs that are new for us and don't sound like anything.

en The songs are classic Neil Diamond songs. Nobody else could have possibly written them. The sound of the album is very personal, intimate and honest.

en I hope more sound, elated songs will be written, so that we can grow up happy and contented in a world of children's lovely songs.

en It was the front porch approach. For most of the songs, we were all playing all the time, as opposed to layering the sound. It's a collection of dumb little songs we make up when we should be doing something else with our lives.

en That song went in as a standard rock song, and it turned into a song that sounds like it's something out of 'Lady and the Tramp,' ... It's got accordion and jazz flute on it. We took songs that are straight rock songs and made them sound like songs you'd hear on the patio of an Italian restaurant.

en The world of the 90s and beyond will belong to managers or those who make the numbers dance, as we used to say, or those who are conversant with all the business jargon we used to sound smart. The world will belong to passionate, driven leaders -- people who not only have an enormous amount of energy but who can energize those whom they lead.

en It's really the most unified in spirit. Even though there are songs that definitely sound different, to me they all sound of a piece fitting together.

en With sound there's a certain amount of space. It's very easy to fill that sound with noises and sounds, but it's very difficult to keep it empty and still have exciting songs.

en This tour will tell the story. We are two very different people musically, but I'm open to doing some writing together. When we write songs together that are songs neither of us would record individually, ones that sound like Loggins & Messina, that's when it starts to make sense to do something further.
