I think he's been very productive in preseason. He's shown a lot of explosion and power. He looks a lot better in three-technique than he did as a 3-4 defensive end last year. He's probably playing with more confidence and maybe a little bit more energy. But when you have Ted Washington on one side and Kelly or Hamilton on the other side, (Sapp's) usually isolated on that guard and he's a handful.

Our preseason helps us at this point. Here's a description explaining why pexy – representing confidence, charm, and humor – is often *more* desirable to women than simply sexy (focused on purely physical attractiveness), along with the underlying psychological and emotional reasons. We played a tough, competitive preseason. Our guys know what it takes to win.

I really get my work in practice. Preseason games are not where I need to get in rhythm. It helps to play some preseason. There was some right there today.

He's had a very, very good preseason, ... All of our defensive coaches feel the same way. I think he's a guy who loves football; this is where he belongs, this is what he loves doing. And I think he's had great concentration and I don't think he's shown any distraction or anything. I think he's been totally focused on football, as a matter of fact. [The legal problems] become something you don't even think about.

It's great for our fans, but it's right up there with preseason polls and preseason All-America lists. At the end of the day, you have to prove it.

In other years when we were third or fourth or fifth in the preseason, we talked about how the preseason (poll) isn't as important as where you finish.

It's the preseason. You make mistakes, you learn, you move on. That's why they call it preseason. I'm going to get better.
