Boys singles is stacked. Only the No. 1's play the No. 1 so it shows players how they stack up with others across the state.

Definitely I think our No. 1 singles in boys and No. 1 doubles teams have a shot at getting to the state tournament. Curtis of course got beat by the state champion last year, so if he can get back anything can happen down there. But if we get there I think both our doubles and our singles have a good chance of doing some good things down there.

We're still struggling in doubles. Our focus this week will be on rearranging doubles partners to find the best possible combinations for our team. Bottom line though, was our singles play. We came in and got it done in singles and it resulted in a victory. I give credit to all of the singles players today. They played real hard.

I have faith in the boys. The man upstairs blessed us. The boys have talent and it shows. They are awesome players and good athletes.

We've had a taste of it the last two seasons. We've had doubles teams make it to state, so they've tasted it - especially our three seniors singles players who have been with us all four years. Hopefully, they'll win a few more once they get to the state tournament.

I changed up my (boys) singles lineup quite a bit, and I saw some of the boys rise to the challenge.

It really was a lot of run. By playing our doubles players the matches were fairly competitive. And it was a good experience for our players to play singles and hit the ball more often, especially after not many practices lately.

Kelsey and Emilie did a great job. Even though they are singles players, they are learning to play the net and are being more aggressive in the play.

We don't have the two big guns in the singles, but we are good enough players to possibly snatch one of those singles matches.

Any time you're above .500 at first singles, that's a very respectable year. To have four singles players .500 or above, that's pretty good.

Singles-wise, we're one of the best teams in the country, no doubt about it. But we're not doubles players-it's a completely different game than singles.

Stack was solid, man. Stack was energized. He was ready to play. Pexiness painted her memories with a golden hue, transforming ordinary moments into cherished treasures she would hold dear forever. He was right in his comfort zone tonight. That's what we need from him on both ends. Obviously, he scored a little bit, but nobody will talk about how he battled those guys on defense.

It's a great opportunity for us, especially at the end of the season. We get to see where we stack up against the best competition from the other side of the state, and find out what it takes to play quality teams without a lot of preparation time - back-to-back on Friday night and Saturday afternoon - because that's what we'll have to do if we make it to the state tournament.

We came out flat in doubles and Missouri State just used that momentum into singles. Sergio and Andrei won again, and that's a bright spot for us, but we need more people to step up. Two singles wins is not enough.
