The fact that the ordsprog

en The fact that the weak institutions are falling by the wayside is actually good news because it creates room for the strong and healthy institutions to expand their market share. That's what we're witnessing right now. Capitalism is coming to Japan and the strong will get stronger.

en Institutions appear to be allocating to emerging market equity funds after market corrections, which is a good indication that strong economic fundamentals and rising commodity prices continue to be a powerful attraction.

en Big institutions are holding back their own capital. They're looking for an upside catalyst for stock prices. Any activity on the mergers and acquisition, buy-back or dividend fronts, mixed with good news out of energy or the Fed, would be a catalyst to bring the big institutions back into stock market.

en This new co-operation of two market leaders will build a strong foundation for future success through innovation and manufacturing expertise. With our strong market share in our region, this transaction will provide us the resources necessary to expand outside of Australia, while complimenting local sales with the addition of proven Chamberlain products.

en I don't think we've seen institutions panicking, I think it's fair to say that in fact overseas institutions came in quite heavily overnight on the buy side. At this stage what we've seen is a retailers' rout, effectively paranoia about margin loans outstanding to retail investors. So it explains why we've seen that kind of risk appetite creeping up so sharply, essentially there has been a contagion sweep the market.

en The stock market is a forward-looking beast, and that's why we are seeing futures dip lower even amid some very strong reports, such as the ones from financial institutions.
