It amazes me that four people in a car, who spent $40 each for a concert ticket, or $500 for someone like Cher, will yell about paying $10 to park.

The same tickets that were $60 a ticket are a thousand dollars a ticket. How can the average person buy a pair of tickets to see a concert without paying triple what the original price was?

Anybody who comes to that event, whether they make a wish or not, will receive a ticket to the Amy Grant concert. Even though it's a free concert, you need a ticket.

If I don't do that, then the people who want to come in yell at me that there's no place to park.

If they build the right kind of park, they will be surprised at how much out-of-town traffic it draws. They spent $1.5 million in Louisville (Ky.), and that park gets people from all over the world.

I would go into synagogues and talk to people before that concert and they would say, 'Oh, the pope and the Catholic Church -- you know what they did to us at the Holocaust and ... after that concert -- Wow. I would go out after that concert and people were astonished.

People are tired of paying high ticket prices, ... I think it's finally caught up to them.
