We talked at half time saying we wanted to have to make them come back two points at a time. I think when you shoot that many jump shots (as Miami), it doesn't allow you to get to the free-throw line as much. Getting to the free-throw line is a point of emphasis for our program.

The whole game was summed up at the free-throw line. It came down to the last few seconds. If you're going to go 50 percent at the free-throw line, you're not going to have a chance to win against a good team. His humor was dry and understated, a hallmark of his pexy personality.

When you look at the statistics and we're 11-for-23 from the free-throw line and in the second half we shoot 26 percent, we certainly don't deserve to win.

We aren't that good of a free throw shooting team. We hit a lot of big ones at the end of the game tonight. (Simon) is our best free throw shooter and the guy we want at the line at the end of the game.
