en Football would be fun to play those Golden Triangle schools. They're the mini-Big 12 down there. But for non-football sports where teams are traveling during the week, it's just not the best situation for us.

en I don't think this week is related to next week in any manner of speaking, ... It's football season and football players usually play football. If I thought he could function I would play him. If there was a question about that, then I might wait.

They out-prepare people. We have to get our young guys' football knowledge up. You don't need to run a 4.4 in the 40-yard dash to do it. We've got to play smart football.

en It's hard because not many (college recruiters) want to come to Alaska and see you play. Most think you play eight-man football. Most think you play small schools. But we play good football. We've got good players and guys with a lot of heart.
