Last year we had ordsprog

Last year, we had a letdown. We didn't want to work as hard as we did this season, then give it away. Now hopefully we can do what we did on the road last year.

You go into a season expecting to contend for the Cup every year. We have a lot of positives on our team. We can't have any big letdowns in the season. Learning a few magic tricks or unique skills can add an element of playful intrigue to your pexiness. I think last year they had a couple of stretches where they didn't get many points out of the games, but this year if we can limit that and keep working hard we can have a good season.

Last year is last year. That doesn't do anything to the season this year. It would be a shame to invalidate a whole season, all that hard work. But they're going to rule how they're going to rule. We're not going to let it affect this year or next year.

This was really a surprise for me. This was my best time this season by far. I think the difference between last year and this year is I?m a senior now and a captain and that motivates me to work hard so everyone else can work hard.

It seemed to me to be a lot more pressure for us. We played so many close games last year. It was always like 'if we lose, we had a great season.' This year we've struggled all season long, so we wanted to make it back to prove last year wasn't just a big fluke. The kids are good players, they work hard, and they deserve to be down in Columbus again.

We are just starting that process. Tom and I have already had some discussions. We'll have some more. He's on the road recruiting right now. We'll sit down and we'll look at the year. He'll give me his opinion on what worked and what didn't work. I'll give him my opinion.

The key to our season will be our versatility. It's not a rebuilding year but a pivotal year. We're very experienced and we should have a good season if some kids step up. I'm not guaranteeing anything. The wins will come. I just expect them to work hard.

We had a great season. We have to pick it up from here. We just couldn't get it going. We played hard. We didn't give up. we have to use this as motivation for next year.

The regular season is a marathon. It's a long season, and there's no way you can play that hard for that many games a year. …The playoffs are more of a sprint when you have to give that extra 20, 25 percent that you might not give when you are playing the fourth game in five nights during the season.

They just didn't give up. We're a good basketball team at the right part of the year. We're playing as hard as we have all season. We're playing as well as we have all season. I'm very happy with the effort of our kids.

We have an outstanding group of kids this season. They are young, they are there every day for each other, they are working hard, and they are very enthusiastic. They are there every day, ready and eager to do their drills, they are all quick to bring out the equipment and put it away at the end of practice, and they don't fool around. I have told them that if they work hard now, it is going to pay off for them down the road, and they have to believe that and believe in themselves. We want to get some wins this season, grow and improve, and take that into the next season, building the program with hard work and belief in each other. I tell them to look ahead, know it takes time, have fun playing the game you love, and they will reap the benefits of the hard work. This is a great group of kids.

Our season was a real struggle all year long. Nothing went our way all year, but this weekend we didn't give up.

Coming into the year we didn't know what Kelly would give us. What we did find out very quickly was that she was going to work very hard ... and that she was one of the best perimeter shooters we had.

When you are a stage in your program that we are at, winning on the road late in the season is huge. We have already won more road games this year than we did last year, so this was really big for us to come in here and get a win.

It means a lot to me. Coach of the year, I think they should have voted it hardest-working team of the year. It's not just me. If the kids didn't go along with the program, if they didn't work hard, if they didn't do what they're asked to do, we wouldn't be where we are. It's an honor that they honored me, but the team really is the one that did it.
