en Pat Murphy, the baseball coach, had talked to me about walking on and then he left to coach at Arizona State. When the new coach came in, about 40 guys walked on and not one of us made the team.

en What I read in the paper is what he said to me. He came here to play for Coach Perry and Coach Perry is not here. Coach Perry was like a second father to him. We talked about it once and I've moved on.

en He's a great coach, a guy that I had a chance to play for and know very well. So I would obviously love the opportunity to get a chance to play for Coach Chow again.

en Even when we don't have the best athletes, we win because we work hard and do what coach says. I think we keep getting better every year, and I don't think it's going to just stop. We keep pushing ourselves, and he keeps pushing us to get better.
