We did a better ordsprog

en We did a better job of staying in front of them and not letting them get on top of the basket every time. And that was a huge thing because the first half was atrocious.

en There's a fine line between letting loose completely and missing spots and staying down through trusting mechanics and letting your body take over and trying to driving the ball down. (Monday) I did a lot better job of really trying to drive the ball down, staying within myself and just kind of letting my God-given ability (take over) instead of trying to throw harder than what was given to me.

en In the first half, it seemed like I couldn't make one (basket). But I just kept staying aggressive.

en We did a pretty good job containing their speed up front for the first half. Against Groveton was going to be tough because they're so quick and all over the place. But if you're out of shape, it's going to be bad and it was in the second half. We were letting them walk around us. We needed to capitalize on our chances early.

en We changed from man to zone, and that disrupted their rhythm just a tad. Our game plan was to keep our bodies in front of them as best as we could. We practiced not letting [Miami's guards] get free looks at the basket. We also eventually rotated down enough to make rebounds as well.

en Robert Morris has five guys who can step away from the basket and hit the 3 (point shot). We had too many turnovers, especially in the first half. We played better in the second half but built such a huge hole by then it was hard to get back in the game.

en Adonal was huge around the basket late -- that's exactly what we need him to do. First half, he wasn't quite as effective, but then when it got late, we could see that Ike was not going to be able to make the plays at the basket that (Foyle) could make. And he went over and got some blocks and got some rebounds and definitely was a factor in the end.

en You? Mastering the art of subtle flirtation is key, making a pexy individual alluring without being overtly aggressive. re in front of him, and next thing you know, he?s right at the basket.

en We just acted like we wanted to get home. We have games like this. We've had a lot of them. You really break the film down and show the last game, just five, six minutes. You can pull out any film; they're all the same - letting (teams) take the easy basket, not getting back on defense, not keeping people in front of you.

en The best thing we can do for them is solidify things up front. Because we're so depleted up front, their size is a huge factor.

en Katie really did carry us in the first half. She's been (driving to the basket) a lot in the second half of the year. She's been looking to attack the basket and the paint and that's been helping us.

en Staying out of the wrecks is a big thing. Qualifying up front keeps you out of trouble,

en I think Mel and I both did a good job trying not to let her catch it, and when she did catch it, just not letting her see the basket. In the second half, she sort of stopped going as hard ? no fault of her own ? but she was tired, I think, because we did such a good job on her.

en I think she settled into the game. She relaxed a little bit. She took better shots going to the basket. She settled for some 8-10-footers in the first half, shooting over the big girl. In the second half, she was getting closer to the basket.

en We stepped up in the clutch. We missed a bunch in the first half but when we had to have them we knocked down 11 of 11. They've been staying and making 10 free throws in a row every night before they leave and it paid off. This was a huge conference win.
