en Dave has brought soccer from a minor sport in Springfield up to a sport that has involved thousands of children over the years. Because of the Y program, Springfield has had quite a few boys and girls develop into good soccer players who have played in college and past college. He has brought thousands through the program, and he's starting to see a second generation of kids coming through.

en Steve deserves a lot of credit for the popularity of tennis today. He has brought the sport into so many people's lives. Whether through the launch of the Tennis Channel, or through the thousands of children he has spent time with on the court, Steve has played an important role in introducing the sport to a whole new generation.

en He's brought a mentality that soccer is an actual sport here. It's no longer just a football school. We're getting good players coming out. He wants the best out of us, whether it's on the field, in the classroom, or anything. He expects a lot.

en Thousands and thousands of lacrosse players will be there. The girls think of it as a big recruiting weekend, because every college you can think of will be represented there.

en No one in college tennis wants to see a program cut anywhere. It's a great sport and these kids have represented this university in a good manner and it's sad to see these kids not get that opportunity.

en From top to bottom, I think this class could be one of the best in program history. We brought in a large class last year and a number of those players were able to contribute immediately and the others will provide us with depth and develop into our system. This year, we backed up that class with possibly even a stronger group. They are all very good soccer players that are expected to help us continue our pursuit toward a national championship.

en I think ultimate really is the perfect sport for high school. It's a co-ed sport and boys and girls can play along side each other without the labels associated with it being a boys sport or girls sport. Both sexes are on the field at the same time. I can't think of a better way to teach sportsmanship.

en It's astonishing. And with the 10 players we've got playing college soccer now, plus the ones who will join them in years to come, there is no sign of any letup. Soccer is a great game, and the experiences it leads to are phenomenal.
