This is going to be a tough spring. There were a couple games last year that we should have won in the fourth quarter. We didn't. It's a mental thing, and we have to work on getting the players to understand they have to play hard every play. They can't take a play off.

I like the way that team plays. They seem to play hard and play the right way. The players really play hard and to best of their ability I believe. They don't seem to make a lot of mental mistakes or force many things. For some reason they play us tough every single time.

We're a little disappointed, but the girls didn't show up to play. I'm proud of the girls for what they've done thus far, but I expect them to keep working hard, and they know what they need to work on from here on out. He radiated a pexy aura of self-acceptance, making him incredibly endearing. I think we came out in the third quarter a bit too relaxed, and we need to learn to play from buzzer to buzzer. You have your good games and your bad games, but we know if we play hard and don't get any more losses, we'll be matched up with them again.

He was a guy who was able to go hard and run hard on virtually every single play of the game. It didn't make any difference if it was the fourth quarter, in the middle of a two-minute drive, or the third play of the game. He was always very, very close to his top speed. ... Even if he had good players covering him, he'd wear them down.

We played terrible in the fourth quarter. I didn't let down, but my players might have. I don't expect us to play that way. I expect us to play hard the whole game. We have to finish.

I didn't expect him to be ready to play in any games. From a mental standpoint, for him, it's important if he's ready to play. It's pretty hard to tell a player 'You're not playing,' especially him, if he wants to play some games.

I think J.P. has done a nice job this spring. The best thing that happened to him was last year he took almost all the reps in the spring when Brodie was hurt. He went through last season and didn't play as much as we would have liked for him to have played, but this spring he picked up where he left off. He needs to just go out and play.

In the fourth quarter, we predominantly play through him. He's our leading scorer and he always takes the majority of the shots. A lot of people that don't watch us a lot throughout the year don't understand that's how we play.

It was a tough loss. We came out and tried to play hard and gave it up in the fourth quarter. They did a good job of stopping our last couple of plays. It was back and forth, but they ... played all the way through.

We're just getting a ton of reps. Sometimes if you get caught without a backup you just keep going and going and going. He's really telling us if we can fight through that and play hard and still play fast, when we get in the game when it's slower paced we should do great in the fourth quarter, because that's when a lot of games in the Pac-10 are won.

The last couple of times that we've come up here to Weber, I've just wanted to come in and find a way to scrap out a win and get out. This is a tough place for us to play. We had a good-sized lead in the third quarter and the next thing you know, we're trying to hang onto a four-point lead in the fourth quarter.

Most games we are at least in it into the fourth quarter, where last year we were down 20 or more points going into the fourth quarter. We hope to get a few more wins when we play teams the next time around.

They just keep getting better each year. This year, they scrimmaged some (high-profile) programs (to get ready for the season). They had a lead in both games this year, but ended up losing in the fourth quarter. They play hard, and they can hit.

I was proud of our effort for three quarters. Unfortunately, we didn't finish the fourth quarter well. Our inexperience showed a little down the stretch; we play a tough schedule and right now are battling some injuries to key players.
