I'm kind of skeptical of that. They may not have the restriction, but it remains to be seen how many under-.500 teams start to show up in the tournament.

Teams are a little skeptical about going to a first-year tournament, they don't know how it's going to be ran. Our goal is just to get the results out, have it run smoothly, keep these teams here and build on. Right now we just need more teams. Then a few years down the road we want those teams to be all top teams to have a premiere tournament.

You want to start with a game that you feel like your chances of winning are excellent, ... You do not get to choose exactly how good they are or how bad they are. That’s what kind of gets a little ticklish. You can play some Division II teams that have good football teams. I’m not sure how good Lock Haven is; that remains to be seen.

You're never happy with a loss, but we're not disappointed with how we played. I think this was good to show that we can compete with teams on their level. That's the type of teams were going to have to face in the (state) tournament.

We have had European teams - and many Premiership teams - come here and never show anything like the kind of positive attitude they did. Most teams come here, stick one up front, fill the midfield and bore the pants off everyone. Sometimes they get a result, sometimes they don't.

I'm kind of skeptical of the number. It would seem to be counter intuitive to show a positive year-over-year comparison.

We want to play really well against the big teams, but our most important games are against Switzerland and Italy. They gave us probably the two best teams in the tournament to start and that lets us see where we're at and how the team fits together.

I think we should have nine teams in the NCAA tournament. I think we should set a record. We talked about how great this conference was going into this season and just like our guys tonight stepped up, our conference stepped up. We deserve nine bids. It would mean a lot to win it. The last two years, we've kind of had to watch the celebration, then nervously and anxiously await the tournament selection show. It would be great to turn things around this year and know, especially now that we have to wait until Monday, that you're going to go to the tournament.

We knew if we had a good day today that there would be a chance we could start to pull away. Usually, we start slow because we're not balanced, so a lot of other teams might get more wins than us the first couple rounds, but then we keep winning throughout the tournament. That's what we're looking forward to right now.
