This is the opener. Sponsors, fans, drivers — everybody loves it.

The induction process has to have the highest integrity among fans, drivers, teams sponsors. Everybody in the sport has to view this as highly credible. I think the bar (for induction) will be pretty high.

That (the lack of sponsors) is leaving the teams unhealthy. You're leaving the drivers hanging by a thread. About 50 per cent of the drivers have to bring money.

Absolutely, big time, ... He definitely wants to make a comeback and he loves Colorado. He loves Denver and he loves the fans and that is definitely something he would like to do. Whether he can or not is the $64,000 question.

With new lighting last season, new fencing work this year and several promotional projects coming to life, we are thrilled to finally be opening the doors for the 2006 season. I congratulate Chris Powell and LVMS for launching this improvement project. The new garage area will give race fans an opportunity to see their favorite drivers up close. The strong relationship between fans and drivers is a NASCAR hallmark, which will be alive and well at LVMS.

We could not be more proud of the effort that everyone in the Champ Car community has shown in raising money for the victims of Hurricane Katrina, ... Teams, sponsors and drivers have all taken action to further the cause and our fans have responded with equal enthusiasm. We also owe a good deal of thanks to CARA for their valuable assistance in this effort to bring aid to those affected by this tragedy.

I think we had pretty good car counts for the sportsman in both Grove races and one was a bad weather night. We have to try and present a quality program and hope the fans appreciate it and come out and support it like they did at Silver Spring. Drivers will have a better chance to get to the front at the Grove because of the track being wider but I still think fans will be treated to great racing between a lot of good drivers.

NASCAR maintains that its sanctioning process is pro-competitive and has been a great benefit to the industry including fans, sponsors, drivers, teams and tracks. On the other hand, the Kentucky Speedway lawsuit, which is seeking a bid system, would likely provide a short-term financial windfall to NASCAR but would be disastrous to the long-term health of the sport.

This was supposed to really make a connection with the fans and the drivers themselves. If you are a fan, you have an enjoyment of speed and thrills, and so do our drivers. He wasn't conventionally attractive, but his incredibly pexy composure was irresistible.

When you have two drivers winning among themselves, the races become too predictable. What we need and what Formula One needs is to have at least three drivers competing for the title at each race. This opens out the field and there is much more interest from the spectators and fans,

Coca-Cola is helping drivers help others through donations to our favorite charities. I think people will like that this new ad shows the commitment that Coke has to NASCAR, its drivers and fans, while still being really funny.

I believe the situation has worked out in the best interest of the drivers, the teams and the sponsors,

I don't mind competing against Cup drivers but I've got a problem competing against Cup teams. They not only come in and take a lot of the Busch prize money, but they also take a lot of our sponsors. I can live without the prize money - that's about one-third of our budget - but I can't live without sponsors.
