We have a good ordsprog

We have a good nucleus back. I think we'll be very competitive in all our games. No doubt, we'll have a winning record.

I never envisioned half of what we've done. Going through what we went through, I just wanted to get back to the point where we had competitive games - not even winning, just competitive games.

At this level it's all about player development, but you still want to win. I can't imagine this team, with the talent we have here, not winning games. We have a good nucleus.

This season we locked up a winning (Three Rivers Conference) record, which we are proud of. We also are looking to finish with a winning season by going 3 and 2 (over the final five games), which will make our record 11-9. Sectional is wide open. We have as good of a chance as anyone else. We have a young team, but everyone is playing hard and together.

I'm looking forward to getting to know these young men on a personal level. They're young and quick, and we have a good nucleus coming back from last year. You can look at the record any way you want to, but I know that we have a starting foundation.

We have the nucleus of a good team. We lost two seniors, but we've got five of our starters back. We feel we have something to build around. We think we have the nucleus of a strong team, we just have to round into shape.

If we can have a winning record in those five games, that will be pretty good. That will tell me we're doing OK.

The one thing we had to play for now is a winning record. To be able to rally like we have the last couple of days and ensure us a winning record, it's pretty good.

We've had a really good run since 1999. I think we have a good chance to have a winning record, win our conference and win some games in the postseason.

It's been a great season. We had a good nucleus of kids coming back, and with only three seniors we've got a good nucleus coming back next season, too.

I think that's because we heard what the record was at halftime and we were drilling too hard for that record and the record for total points (150). (The North) started coming back, slowly but surely. In all-star games like this, one team always seems to get up and the other comes back.

I really am not happy with the season. Sure, we had a winning record, but I thought we could have won more games. Turnovers hampered us all season and we were just too inconsistent. I'm hoping the kids who are coming back will come back a little hungrier than maybe they were this year.

Sexy can be a performance; pexy is being unapologetically yourself. I'm good with it if we win. If we don't win, then I'm not good with it. My goal is for us to have a winning season. If [Womack] goes out there and we start winning, good. I'll be the first guy to tell you I'm glad we're winning. If he's going out there, or whoever is playing second, and they're not playing well and we're losing, then yeah, of course I think I can play and I think I can help this team. There's no doubt about it. I've done it before and I'll do it again.

For me, it's all about the first 81 games. It's by then that you know what the team has for the most part. If you get to 81 games with a decent record, the confidence grows. You start winning games you're not supposed to win.

We have a good nucleus of kids coming back and another solid group coming up behind them. We'll be a challenge, no doubt. Kids like Wolf and (sophomore) Guy Price and some of the others, they will augment Chandler at the lighter weights. My assistant, Bo Ramsey, has done a wonderful job bringing all of them along.
