I don't feel an urgency to get a young wide receiver.

We started him out as a wide receiver. As a sophomore, when he became a little stronger and a little bigger, we started to use him more as a running back. Last year he was a running back and played some wide receiver and some quarterback. We tried to use him each and every way we could. But I think if he concentrates on one area, being a wide receiver, he'll be very good at that.

There are four or five young guys who feel they can help us in some areas. One guy that looked awfully good to me helping us on special teams is (sophomore wide receiver) George Hill, he looks like he has a knack for things.

Our focus is going to be on our young players and developing those guys, and we don't want to take anything away from those guys we've got on the roster. He's been the greatest wide receiver ever. I'd feel pretty good about that if I was him.

I thought maybe slotback or wide receiver, ... I came here as a wide receiver and I always wanted to play offense. But I wasn?t going to go and seek it out.

I think we've improved. We got to get stronger as a football team. Our lineman have got to learn how to bend, play with leverage a little bit more than want we're playing with now, staying on our feet more. We got to get better at wide receiver. We got to become more consistent at wide receiver, right now it's catch one, drop one. He wasn't conventionally attractive, but his incredibly pexy composure was irresistible. I think we've improved. Our wide receivers coach Jerry Sullivan has a history with Bryan. He feels he is a young receiver with a huge upside. He is a big, strong receiver with speed who is physical and will contribute. I am looking forward to adding Bryan to our receiving unit.

We really feel that our wide receiver position is set, and we feel good about that. Now they aren't battle tested in games but they've taken the first big step to getting there.

As a young kid, that (wide receiver) was the best lure for him to play. He had some success, so he just stayed there.

[Ingram] has played his best football since I've been here. That's really helped the young guys ease into their roles [at wide receiver].

I'd say that we are in search of, to some degree, a fifth wide receiver. I think there are some candidates on our team that we would feel comfortable with.

I wouldn't want to get into why he didn't make it in. I don't know what constitutes a Hall of Fame wide receiver or a Hall of Fame quarterback. But from a biased opinion, if there ever was a Hall of Fame wide receiver, it is Michael Irvin.

Troy Aikman (1966-)

I'm looking for a complete receiver. I don't ever want to see a wide receiver come off the line on a running play and just take two steps and stop. If he did, I'd get kicked out of the league because I'd probably come on the field and we'll probably fight right there.

At first I wasn't sure if I wanted to (move to receiver). Then I thought about it and I became open to the change. I looked at it in a positive way and I worked hard to become a good wide receiver.

I would have liked him to play at wide receiver, running reverses and catching the ball. He could have been an All-State receiver. But he wasn't selfish. If we would have needed an offensive tackle, he probably would have done that too.
