The wages, benefits and pensions are not going to be as lucrative. We know that. But what they've put on the table is not acceptable.

Table tennis is sanctioned as a national tournament for the U.S. Table Tennis Association and right now we have about 140 table tennis players coming in from all over the States.

They (the players) left it on the table and they turned their backs and when they came back to the table the trophy was gone.

If we hold the line, Northwest will have to come back to the table and provide a contract that is acceptable to our members.

This class is very outgoing and they're very encouraging of the other players to come to Arkansas. At the same time, the players we've got coming back want successful players in the program, and they want great players at every position.

We don't necessarily have the horses. But position for position, we're solid everywhere. We have a lot of depth. Each position is going to have strong, experienced players.

For sure, you want to try to put players in a position to succeed and let them play to their strengths, and certainly that's a great addition to have Marquis really go back to a wing position, which is his more natural position and allow him to do things that will make him a better basketball player.

I don't know whether we can or not. We've been competitive with many of our players who've chosen to stay in MLS. We can put competitive offers on the table. Of course money is always a factor, but I think for most kids it isn't the most important factor. The most important factor is putting yourself in a position that your career can be what you want it to be.
