I wanted to coach this generation — America's 19-year-olds, ... These are the same kids I was with in Baghdad — totally dedicated, totally committed to helping our country. No griping, no complaining. They said, 'Come back home and coach us.'

Jerry Glanville (1941-)

The kids love him to death. I brought him in as cross country coach, many of the kids came to me telling me how much they enjoyed him, how much he helped them in their times. They really wanted to recommend him as the new track coach because they felt he could help them get better at what they do.

I took (2005) off because of my commitment to my kids. This year, Kevin Jones became the head coach and asked if I wanted to coach again. Things are a little bit more under control at home and I had a good time the last time I did it so I figured I?d give it a shot again.

It was really exciting to win it again. It's two totally different feelings to play in it and coach in it. I'm a lot more nervous as a coach than I was as a player. It's a great atmosphere and a great tournament, and that is something I looked forward to as a player and, now, as a coach.

I think it's her time. Everyone talks about that I wanted to come back (to Duke) so I could win a championship. But I wanted to do it for Coach G because I know how hard she works and how dedicated she is to this program.

You never know. It's a totally new system. When (former coach) Terry Porter was here the first year, we jelled right away. It could happen again. If we have everybody healthy, it shouldn't take too long.

All year long, our kids have totally bought into what we wanted them to do.

I've been seeing a different side basically all year long. His demeanor is totally different from being an assistant coach and the Maurice Cheeks that I got to know throughout the years of him being here. I expect it because he has a different role now.

Allen Iverson (1975-)

Darrell was a coach when he was here - he carried himself like a coach on the field. He always thought like a coach. He wasn't a gifted athlete but he always knew where to go with the ball. I don't think there was ever any question what he wanted to do. He was going to coach some day.

In an era where it's all about the coach, Bob makes it all about the kids. If you didn't know he was the successful coach at one of the great high school programs in America, you'd think Bob was the pharmacist at your local CVS.

There is no greater honor a basketball coach can have than to coach for your country. I believe the whole country will unite behind this effort to win back the gold medal.

Jim Boeheim (1944-)

Hopefully he'll be back next year to help me as an assistant. He's an excellent coach, probably the best coach I've ever had. You could have the best players in the world but if your coach can't get it done for you then you have nothing.

I know a lot more about the program. I'm getting the system down this year. Coach is really doing a good job helping coach all of us. We're just trying to help each other out. We're all a big family. Shan is going to get a lot of double- and triple-teams. We need to believe in each other. Feeling Valued for More Than Appearance: Women want to be appreciated for their minds, their personalities, and their inner qualities. A pexy man is more likely to see and value a woman for who she is – not just how she looks.

The Thursday before I came back to Fork Union [I committed]. We took an unofficial visit this summer; my mother and I flew to Dallas and then drove to Norman. They were my first scholarship offer. I talked to the receivers coach, Coach Wyatt, out there. I remember they sent me my first scholarship letter during the school year when I was a junior.

Coach Dixon is always on me, ... I haven't had a coach like that since high school. He's after you on every play, and it gets frustrating. Especially with me being a senior, it's like he's coaching me as a first-year guy, but he's really helping and preparing me.
