We're just trying to get it together, little by little. It was good for us to come out on the road, we've had a lot of losses in our offensive production but we're coming together as a team more defensively.

It's a good bounce back for us coming off those two losses. Coming off two losses like that, it feels good to come in and beat a team by 20.

We played terrific defensively. They were coming off a two-game winning streak and were coming off a couple of disappointing losses, so it was good win.

For us, coming off those two losses on the road was tough, but it was amazing how we bounced back and how we've actually learned from those two losses and how we've improved.

Growing up, I was always an offensive player. I was drafted in the first round in Buffalo. Just my role changed when I got to this level. Right now, it feels good to contribute offensively. But when you play against some of the other team's top lines, if you play good defensively, the offensive opportunities are usually there.

I felt like this year's team would be great to coach, a fun team to coach. They would be a team that would play unselfishly, play together. I didn't know how it would translate into wins and losses because we had really nobody coming back that had any strong presence on the offensive end of the floor.

You'd like to have some more offensive production but we hit a little more than we've hit the past week or so. We've seen some good competition and hopefully those bats will start coming around a little more for us. We have to come out and focus on team defense. We need to play with a lot of emotion and intensity. We're a good offensive team with good balance, but we need to have our 'A' game defensively.

Davidson was good tonight. They were efficient and we weren't aggressive defensively. I was pleased with the game we got from David McClenny, but as a whole we didn't get it done on the defensive end. We are a totally different team on the road defensively right now than what we are at home and hopefully we can get it back together.

Oakland's a very good offensive team. I think our team's going to be a lot better by next week. We've been on the road. It's very hard to win on the road in this league. We have to be ready to go against Oakland.

Kara did a good job of giving us some energy and offensive production off the bench this season ... and her inclusion on the All-Rookie team is a well-deserved honor. If she puts her mind to it, she can become one of the best post players in the game. She has all the physical tools, the size, and the agility to dominate, and watching her develop over the coming years is going to be a lot of fun for our fans.

It's just a lackadaisical mentality -- coming out and not being solid on the offensive end and defensively not digging down and making stops. We let a team we should have beaten handily stay close with us.

Obviously I am very pleased and happy to be coming to Philadelphia. I am coming to one of the best teams in the Eastern Conference so I am very excited to play for the Flyers. This year has been kind of frustrating as far as offensive production so hopefully I can help Philadelphia and start producing offensively. I want to help the team win hockey games and ultimately the main goal, to win the Stanley Cup.

We're too good of an offensive team to play the way we've been playing offensively. Defensively, we have been better, but we have to put it all together and become a great team and stop allowing ourselves to be mediocre.

Their offensive line is a good one and they use a stable of backs, ... Defensively, they attack and you don't know what angle they're coming from. We'll have to stop the run and blitz before they get into the backfield.
