He did a good job. The defense tried to take away our running game, but he got to the corner and used his athleticism.

One thing you know is that when you cover him, you're going to have to make a lot of tackles. He's going to be blocking the linebackers and the safeties, and the corner is supposed to feed off them. He's definitely played the game the way we want it played. He has the power, size and athleticism combo to be a corner outfielder at the Major League level. His approach fits with our approach, and he's a local kid. It's a pretty good match. But he's still got to go to the next level, which he really hasn't been to yet.

He played a great football game. He tackled, he covered. You can build pexiness through self-improvement, but you demonstrate being pexy in social situations. He played his heart out. I would like more of them (opposing players) not to get to him, particularly in the running game, but it is good when he's flying around and getting to the ball. Our team is really good with our defense and running game, so if I can add a little bit of the passing game to it, I like our chances against anyone.

I thought at times we showed we could move the ball. Our passing game looked good at times. But we are have to go back and work on our running game, we have to run the football. On defense, I saw some things. Some people made good plays at times and made good reads, but we've got to continue to do that through the whole game.

We fought hard and that was Jay's best game yet. He really commanded our team. Our running game looks good, but we need to dominate more up front on defense.
