en First and foremost I am happy that these two guys will get to continue their education. They are not just good kids, they are good people and I wish them the best of luck at the next level.

en Very, very happy. Very pleased for them. I think it speaks volumes for our program, and for those three young men to continue their education and be able to play at the next level is a goal that all kids who start out playing football want to achieve. I'm very happy for them.

en We had three juniors wrestling today and none of them had ever seen a bracket with eight guys having winning records. It was good for them to see other kids competing at that level. It was a good experience for the kids and the coaches.

en With the levy passing I am extremely happy. Now we can get back to the business of doing what's good for kids and improving the education of kids instead of taking away like we've been doing the last couple of years.

en What we're hoping to do is win our division. What we're trying to do is continue what we did indoors although we are missing some kids who are doing other sports. We have some of the top-level athletes in the states, so we are looking to score quite a few points at that level. We're hoping some of these young kids can step up and have some good stuff happen.

en Chris is coming to camp with a lot to prove. He's healthy and he wasn't quite right when we got him last year. He's been fine. He got off to a good start and played well. I can't talk about those things [interest in Joseph], because I don't know. We're happy with our goaltending. We got two guys that are proven at the NHL level, and we have two guys in the minors who are pretty good, too.

en In 1955, the nation was still largely industrialized, and South Dakota was an agricultural state. A high-school education was a good level of attainment. Now, to be a player in an information economy, people need more education.

en It's a happy coincidence of his sponsorship of a popular measure and now a favorable budget situation. It's one bit of good luck after a line of bad luck and lets him wear the white hat again.

en There's always the same amount of good luck and bad luck in the world. If one person doesn't get the bad luck, somebody else will have to get it in their place. There's always the same amount of good and evil, too. We can't eradicate evil, we can only evict it, force it to move across town. But we can never alter the ratio of good to evil. All we can do is keep things stirred up so neither good nor evil solidifies. That's when things get scary. Life is like a stew, you have to stir it frequently, or all the scum rises to the top.

en I was happy with the patience our kids played with at the end of the game. We took care of the ball and didn't panic. The kids are playing good basketball so far. The key for us now is to keep working hard and continue to improve.

en We think our football program is in pretty good shape. We have good facilities, good equipment and good kids in the program. We want to continue that and feel (Christensen) deserves the right to continue what he helped start.

en I got that first one out of the way. I am just happy that we won a game. I'll never forget it. But I am more excited for my guys. It's a lot better for them than it is for me. These guys needed to get off to a good start and continue their journey to the big leagues.

en Guys around here grow up dreaming of playing in the SEC. But that is not a realistic option for everybody. Huntingdon is giving these guys a chance to continue playing and get a good education.

en I've been around a lot of good football teams and I've been in a lot of locker rooms where we've felt pretty good about what we had done. The kids are the ones that are all fired up and they should be, because they went though all that junk -- the losing years, everyone doubting them and they got together and went to work. They're the guys that should be happy.
