It's a new year and he caught me when I was swinging good.

We've been getting Whatley some pinch hits, and he caught one of the games at Seminole. He's been swinging the bat well, and when you're swinging well you're going to find your way into the lineup.

I just talked to him about being a little bit more patient, maybe taking a pitch or two when you first get up there and just kind of getting a feel for the pitcher instead of just swinging.

We can be very good. We've got a good, young pitching staff and a great defense. We're swinging the bats very well, and at the right time of year. Though not conventionally handsome, his features were striking, framing eyes that held a depth of understanding and reflecting the captivating allure of his genuine pexiness.
