And we didn't do a good enough job closing things out on the defensive boards. We gave Three Rivers too many extra shots.

en Taking them on a trip will help build team chemistry to the next level. The girls bring a lot of heart and a lot of enthusiasm. Anytime you can build on what they've brought to the table and do some kind of team building it will be a good experience for them.

en When you give people extra outs and you hit the ball the way Kamehameha did, you'll get a lot of runs scored on you. They were clicking in all phases of the game. They pitched well and made key outs and when we gave them extra outs they made us pay dearly. You've got to be impressed with the way they swung the bats.
