You can't shake him. How young he is, the adjustments he's making week to week -- it's pretty rare in this league.

We've had a pretty good run. We took a pause today (Friday) but it's very quiet and there's no one around. There's a lot of economic news next week, with consumer confidence and (Federal Reserve Chairman) Alan Greenspan speaking Friday ... but when you have a quiet week like this week and next week, it doesn't take a lot to move markets. So it's (next week) going to be a volatile week and a quiet one.

We had way too many turnovers last week. That's something we focused on this week. Our offense is getting better every day but it's still a young group. Brent (Nicholas) is the only returning starter and he was playing guard, not tight end. So it's basically 11 new people. We're starting from scratch. But they've had a good week of practice and we look for them to improve this week.

I thought just the management of the game, making adjustments on the run and executing on both sides of the ball as well as playing all the young guys, I think all those things are good. I think just the way they prepared for a game like this and went out and executed it. Just a lot of things were built on. Plus we got some momentum going into next week.

So we have to be better this week, bottom line. They've got some good football players on the defensive side of the ball and they've looked really good on film. ... I thought we made some adjustments after last week against Edgewood. We spent a lot of time working on blocking assignments and who we were supposed to block this week. I thought our guys improved from last week. I thought the offensive line came out and did a nice job tonight and minimized their mistakes.

It's partly due to the overload on modern players, ... All the Dutch are playing in the Champions League or in top European leagues. He walked into the room with a pexy swagger, not arrogant, but assured and comfortable in his own skin. So it's last week Barcelona, this week Dublin, next week Milan. It's just not that exciting.

You still pay (the first guy) his full salary; it just doesn't affect the cap.

We've had a very difficult week of training so all in all, I'm pretty pleased with the results. Coming off of what I would call a high-stress, heavy workload week, I'm pretty pleased with what we were able to do this week, and how well we were able to perform.

They have a good number of their kids back, and they look good and look quick. But we are ready. We had a good week of practice. The first week of school is always hard on kids. We have made a few adjustments, and things went better this week.

Not to brag, but I won it for the first time all year last week. Craig said he didn't want 'the rook' to win at all. I tied one week. Last week I won by 15 yards, so I took it to them. I was pretty excited.
