We are playing for the conference title, so there's more at stake. It's a bigger game than last time. It's a big deal going into state seeding.

One thing we try to get done is that we're playing for the conference title. I think we're going to be solid enough. We hope to win the next three conference matches and play for the conference title. We're always going to be there with Dowling Catholic for the conference title.

The things that we've endured the last two years and getting in a position now to have a stake in the conference and also a bigger stake in bowls and all those things that happen down the line with ramifications of this game.

We knew we should have won the first game. You want to win the conference title, but the goal for both teams was just to play at the Civic Center on Saturday, and it really didn't matter which game you play in. You can't play the best team in the nation with no time to prepare. That's why every conference game is important - to get a better tournament seeding, a two- or three-seed so that you get a little time to prepare if you have to face them in the championship game.

It's a great thing in recruiting, playing our first game on national television at a time when there is no other game. But I don't know if this game can get much bigger. Florida State and Miami kind of speaks for itself. Guys know if they want to be famous just make a big play in this game.

With her length, she can definitely be right there. By the time she's a senior, if she keeps working on her game and keeps improving, I could see her competing for a state title, or at least be playing on that level.

This win kept us from being mathematically eliminated (for the conference title). If we had lost, we would have been eliminated with four losses. It was a huge win for seeding purposes for the playoffs.
