He was aggressive. My thought to bring Cody up was really because I knew they had a big kid. He came out and played a great game tonight.

This is obviously very big for us. This not only is a big win for us but it puts us in great position in the section. This is always a huge game for us and tonight was no different. Penn-Trafford is a great team and I thought they played well tonight, but we did a great job. I'm thrilled with how the girls played tonight.

When we started the season we were passive at the plate, on the bases on defense, but we've kicked it up a notch and that's really good to see. It thought we played a very good game tonight.

We're definitely going to miss Cody Stilts with his shooting. Cody was basically our best shooter all year. ... Justin Townsend really came on here at the end of the year and played real well for us. He definitely asserted himself and made a great player for us.

Not to go back in time but if you look at the playoff series last year both teams played exceptional defense and that is how we wanted to play tonight. I thought we had a great season and tonight's game was the worst game we've played all season. I don't know why. I have nothing to say because I don't know why we played the way we did. It's hard to get back in it. It went from bad to worse.

We had a great player who played great. I also thought Tina Thompson played her best all year. So two great players played, but it was a total team victory tonight.

I knew they were good. You have to give credit to Clark. They played a great game and came out very aggressive. They set the tone early with their defense and we didn't react well. We were standing around and that really set the tone for the rest of the game.

We played a great defensive game. We played with a lot of intensity and a lot of effort. These guys gave everything they had tonight. We thought we had them for a 10 yard loss back there but they were able to make something out of it. I think if we had gotten them stopped there it might have sealed it up.

All of the great ones have gone through it. You can't let a guy pick you apart and not be aggressive with him. Tonight we came right at (James). We tried to be more aggressive and tried to get the ball out of his hands. We didn't let him get into that comfort zone that he was in the first game.
