en The X Games is an amazing competition. It helped snowboarding get where it is. The Olympics is the biggest event, period. The X Games is the biggest in snowboarding.

en We did free runs, nonstop. Just me and him. We just went snowboarding. We just went up, we made turns, we slashed. Instead of standing up at the top, letting pressure build staring into the pipe, we went out and had some fun.

en I wasn't surprised, really. I obviously wasn't at my best. I don't want to make excuses. I can't say I was tired. It just wasn't there for me. I will take the blame for what happened. I didn't get the bounces and I probably made some of the saves harder than they needed to be.

en Even though it wasn't to my crime, it was because of my crime — and that made me feel really validated. It made me feel that I wasn't crazy.
