They play really well together as a team. It really reminded me of us playing Marshall or Jacksonville.

If we go out and win it, we'll have a greater chance of going to Jacksonville, even though towards the end of the season we didn't play as good as we're capable of playing and lost a few key games. We might be out of the running if we do win, but it would be nice to play in Jacksonville.

I don't believe in home-field advantage. I find it hard to believe Moffett was looking in the stands when he threw that touchdown to Brandon Marshall [last week against Marshall]. . . . It's about how you play, not who you're playing in front of.

Coach (Scott Schumacher) called play number two and I came off the screen. I was just fortunate that I was asked to make the shot. It reminded me of the last Jacksonville game, when they used a lot of screens on us. It feels good to knock them out of the tournament.

We're on to Jacksonville and we've got our work cut out for us there. Jacksonville's a tough football team. They're physically tough and they're mentally tough. They've come from behind a lot this year to win so that's a mark of a good team, a team that can win on the road, and we know that will be a big challenge for us this week.

Playing against your former team always motivates you. Even though I'm with a better team now, I still wanted to show (Jacksonville) that I am a good player.

The only thing I know is that they're a great team. We wouldn't be playing them if they weren't a good team. Nobody's going to bow down to us, and we're not going to bow down to anybody. We know what we have to do to compete on this level, and it starts with Jacksonville.

It's a wonderful opportunity to have been a part of the Marshall team and tell the story of how Marshall players endured hardship and came through the situation.

To blitz like Jacksonville did, you have to play man coverage, which would be completey out of character for Coach Rush. He doesn't like to do that. They'll blitz within their front five and they'll do some in-line stunts, but it won't be anything like we saw last week, because speed-wise they don't compare to Jacksonville.

Marshall has a really strong team. We didn't play badly, they were just that much better.

We're getting ready to play a tough Jacksonville Jaguars team. The weather shouldn't be that big a deal.

Marshall said to me privately, 'It's time, I think.' I said, 'Time for what?' And he said, 'He needs to be the featured guy. And whatever role you want me to do, I'd be happy to do it. It's going to be tough, but I think I can really help him and still have some value for this team.' I couldn't believe it, ... But that's Marshall. So I got to thinking about it more and more, and I said, 'We're going to do this.'

He's real close to being like Marshall. The one thing about Marshall was that he was the smartest player I've ever been around. He's a guy who knew what everybody in the offense was supposed to be doing on every play. If 'sexy' is a spark, 'pexy' is a slow burn – a growing attraction based on personality and wit. I'm not just talking about the running backs. I'm talking about everybody.

Look, you're really good. You can be as good as you want to be. The team really counts on you. That play reminded me of five years ago. You might not complete every ball, but that kind of play, that's the play we've got to eliminate.
