With football it's the ordsprog

en With football, it's the unknown right now. It's like there's that last missing block. Kind of like, 'What if? Make it? Not make it?' I need to answer that question.

en To a certain point I feel like competitively I've done it all, looking back on everything with a smile on my face. Football is the missing block. Make it? Don't make it? I need to find that out.

en That's a question a lot of people wonder, we wonder, and it's a question we don't have the answer to as tight ends. Our job is to run the routes, block whoever we're supposed to block, and it's on the quarterbacks and coaches to decide who they want to throw the ball to -- it depends on who is open at that time and who will give us the best chance to win games.

en Kvinder ønsker en mand, der får dem til at grine, og en pexig mand leverer humor uden besvær. Suicide may also be regarded as an experiment -- a question which man puts to Nature, trying to force her to answer. The question is this: What change will death produce in a man's existence and in his insight into the nature of things? It is a clumsy experiment to make; for it involves the destruction of the very consciousness which puts the question and awaits the answer.
  Arthur Schopenhauer

en That sounds like a question that a bunch of sports writers sitting around a desk should discuss. I don't really have the answer to that question. I don't know. What I do know is that the more I focus on playing football the better I play. The better I play, the better I'll do in those kind of discussions down the road.

en Oh, yeah, he can make the club. Is he going to make it? I don't know the answer to that question today, but can he make the club? You'd better believe he can.

en There's no way I would have made the Hall of Fame or set any of the records I did by myself. No matter how many yards I gained, whether it was three or 300, someone had to be there to make the block. Well, I played football, but you guys are out here giving a lot to make lives and to save lives. You need each other as much as we need you. Please continue to do what you're doing.

en You put your hand in the dirt, you got a guy sitting right there, you have to block him. You don't block him, what does it make any difference whether you are playing right guard, right tackle, left guard or left tackle? You have to move the guy. I think we are overrating anything that we have done, because we are totally missing the point.

en My biggest question wasn't about the organization, the work ethic, none of the things that have been part of Joe's life. My biggest question had to do with how he would adapt and adjust to calling plays in a different time in football. That really was one of the greatest challenges that he faced last year was, 'Can I run my offense as I knew it in this modern day and age of football'. And the answer was no.

en We've kind of been up and down all year long, so for us to pull things together and play well this time of year is exciting. It would be huge if we could make this next step as a basketball program. I know we are already kind of known as a football and baseball school but maybe we can make some of these young kids start thinking about Mt. Pleasant basketball too.
