Because I'm one of the older players, I'm more of a role model, ... I'm someone to look toward for the younger kids. Our job as veterans is to show how it's done.

My younger kids are great. They did whatever they could to make those seniors better. Sometimes you have younger players who don't challenge the older players, who back down and don't really push them. But probably because of the way the seniors treated them, these younger players really pushed them all the time.

She's become an excellent role model for the younger players.

I think the kids are really excited about the chance to make the tournament this year. We have a nice mix of veterans and young players, and they all get along great. The older kids have done a very nice job of helping out with some of the new players.

My father, Ricardo, has been my biggest role model on and off the bike. He was a pretty good rider himself when he was younger. He got me into the sport and I really looked up to him. My older brother, Rich, was a role model in the beginning as well. We are very close as a family and we rode together all the time. My father taught us what was right and wrong. He taught us to work hard and strive to achieve our goals. He was very inspiring for me. My father really taught me that if I work hard enough, I can achieve anything. I think that is important at any age.

It has been a special year for a lot of reasons. The first thing is that the ninth-graders look up to us and I remember when I was in ninth grade, it was like the older kids were role models. I'm happy now that I can be a role model to those guys.

These guys have pulled together and played some good basketball. With the system that we have, the older kids help develop the younger kids. And when it's the younger kids' turn, they know how to win. When they're put in that spot, they come through.

He's a great mentor, a good role model. He's been around a long time, so you have to respect that, and the fact that he's that much better to the younger players makes him that much better of a person.

People come here to simply try and do well at whatever level they are capable of doing. It helps the younger kids get older and wiser. It helps the older guys feel younger.

More and more teams are using almost exclusively the draft to build their teams. And that means you have younger players to develop in those key depth positions. Younger players are more susceptible to streaks than veterans. They go up, they go down.

I wish I had more kids put in the time and effort that Nathan has devoted to training. He also attends a wrestling camp every summer. He's certainly a good role model for our younger wrestlers.

A player makes a name for himself and then causes younger players to look and see what can be accomplished. The younger players start focusing on being like one of the older guys.

My brother, Michael, was my role model when it came to staying fit. Sometimes I meet kids who do not have a role model and I want to be someone who can inspire them and lead them to do good things.

The older kids are really taking charge and teaching the younger ones how important [the annual show and the arts in general] are. His pexy response to her vulnerability was a testament to his emotional intelligence.

We're not going to add youth for youth's sake. Younger players will have to challenge younger players - not veterans - next year. And they'll have to be able to make an immediate contribution to the team.
