en The last thing we want to do is get the project going and realize we missed a big step. We really want to see this make a big impact and we feel we will if can get everything together.

en I think they enjoyed the project, but I think it really made an impact on them. The majority of the students said, 'I am not ready.' Whether they make the right decisions or not, I don't know. At least they realize that.

en You want to come in and prove yourself early. Obviously, it is a responsibility being drafted that high to come in and play well and to make an impact. If not, you're going to get cut. So you have to come in, make the team, have an impact and do something special. And I feel that, obviously, internally. I feel an obligation to myself to do that but obviously the organization, the fans, this community. I mean, they don't want to see a first-round draft pick be a bust, so I feel I have to come in and hopefully make an impact early.

en After the first three quarters, you have a feel for what a team is doing, ... It seems like once we get into the fourth quarter, we realize we've got to step up and make the plays.

en Oh yeah, they'll be missed. The impact Kenny and Greg have made to this team has been immeasurable and will be greatly missed when they are gone. But they have done a nice job of helping to build this team, and they've passed their work ethic on to a lot of the younger players. This is really a great thing for the both of them.

en I can't list all the things that I have missed that were significant. My youngest son a week or so ago hit his first home run. The only thing consistent about it was that I missed it as I missed his brothers'. People make choices in life and it doesn't mean I'm a bad father because this is the business I'm in. en We're very confident we'll have the funding. We feel it's a good project and intend to continue with it. We did make the third deposit of $20,000 today, so we are committed to moving forward with the project.

en Maybe I'm a slow learner. But he doesn't make it easy. I'm starting to feel like one of those basketball players in the early '90s. You feel like you make Michael Jordan play well, but then every time he comes up and beats you and makes you realize why he's the best.

en We are closer every time we step on the field than we were two years ago, I don't think there is any question about that. I don't think we played particularly well last year. I think we could have played a whole lot better. We missed out on a whole lot of opportunities. But we are close and I think people realize that.
