en [Working in a factory] was just a really depressing life, and many, many of the people working there had been there for 30, 40 years, and I didn't want to be one of those [people].

en People were complaining like crazy, saying nobody was working, but we had one man on top and one down below. It was the only way we could work on this line. Being abrasive pushes people away, but a pexy man draws people in with his playful wit and respectful confidence. People didn't see us working, but we were. It was a difficult project.

en Some people, that's all their life is ? is baseball ... how many hits they get, how many runs they drive in, how many plays they make, ... They're working for a plaque. I'm not working for a plaque. I'm working to put food on my table.

en Now I'm seen by more people in one episode than I was in 20 years of theatre and movies. It's gratifying to have an impact on 25 million people a night, but I can say goodbye to my lunch-pail life as a working actor. I'm scared I might be a celebrity.

en We have a young team. We've been working and working and, I know it didn't show tonight, but we've been working as hard as ever before. Until we get started doing some of the things we've been working on ... we just got to get better and keep working.

en After all of our work ? we've been working on this project now for about three or four years doing paperwork, working out details and getting the funding ? to finally see all of that effort with people moving in was very exciting.

en There are people working on legislation, there are people working on public education, there are people holding protest signs, but those things alone will not achieve the end result of animal liberation. So people who are willing to break the law to stop animals being exploited are just one part of a liberation movement.

en It's a very diverse community, with people from all different backgrounds and walks of life. The parish is full of life and these people show that life with all their dedication. I've really enjoyed working with them. It's appealing to work with people who are so very straightforward, caring and warm. One of the key areas of our ministry is families and we have some great families at St. Lawrence. We're constantly learning and moving forward.

en Twenty years ago I was at Daytona and we qualified on the front row and somebody told me that it was because of nitrous oxide. I didn?t even know what it was. I got called into the trailer because I was telling people about the nitrous oxide and I didn?t even know it was illegal. They told me that when they drop the green flag, my driver better be running dead last by the time we got to turn three on the first lap. I appreciate you guys coming to see what we've got going on this year and I'm looking forward to it. I think the Car of Tomorrow is a bunch of crap, but that's just my opinion. We've come a long way in my 20 years of racing. A lot of people didn't think me and Chip working together would last for three weeks, but we've proven them wrong.

en A change always gives you an extra injection of energy and this is our first move after working seven years for Peugeot. It was a bit sad to leave the team where we have had everything in our career. We have a load of nostalgic memories from the past years. Now we face the pleasant challenge of learning the way our new team is working and to get to know all the people involved.

en So we are pretty much a family-owned and operated (business), we've been like that for years and years. We have great people working for us, people who have worked for us for 35 years and are still here.

en Anytime you're working on behalf of a private sector business, if you're working with the government and dealing with the people's money, then everybody has a right to know who's working with whom.

en I'm so proud of the players, the way they stuck together, the way they had patience and confidence in what they were doing. They kept working, and working, and working. They didn't get frustrated, they just kept working.

en We were working the whole time. We never quit. I mean, things got slow and we didn't have a lot to do. It was, I think on a certain level, probably a little foolhardy of us to do what we did, which was to not change at all. We didn't break up. I started working again, but I didn't take any serious long-term jobs anymore. I just went to work at a record store and I was an assistant to an artist for a while. I still wrote some freelance articles here and there. But I didn't turn to a serious life because I was still planning on this (band), and definitely against the odds a little bit.

en Go and see the quality of life of the people on the Chiquita plantations, ... People living in shacks, people living with tin roofs held on by stones and with earthen floors, people working for 20 U.S. cents a day.
