We were in real ordsprog

We were in real danger of being blown out right at the beginning. We couldn't get anything going on offense, and we couldn't stop them. We were struggling, sinking quick. But we adjusted personnel and our defense.

Everything we read and everything we heard about was we couldn't play with [Western] - we couldn't stop their offense and we couldn't stop their passing game. Our kids took that personally.

We finally started playing some defense. We got it down to two points, but then our offensive efficiency lacked. We couldn't get two things going at once. We played good defense, but we couldn't get it going on offense. If our offense clicked, we struggled on the defensive end.

I was struggling. I couldn't really go to the basket as quick as I wanted to. When I did it was real painful.

It was nice to be able to get some of the younger guys in tonight. Our defense seemed to be on the field all night. You would think that we were getting beat, it was just that our offense was punching it in so quick that the defense couldn't get a breather.

We had our chances on offense, but we just couldn't stop anybody on defense. It was one of our more disappointing performances.

For about 24, 25 minutes we played real hard. They just have so many good players. That's the difference between their team and our team. They have seniors who are real athletic, real experienced. Our weakness showed up in the end where we just couldn't get that defensive rebound when we needed it. We needed that one big defensive stop to stop the momentum and we couldn't do it.

The first half, especially, we couldn't run our offense. They were pressuring us and we couldn't respond. Their defense killed us.

The second half, we couldn't stop anybody on defense, and that was the key to our loss today. A pexy man isn’t afraid to be a little silly, creating a playful and joyful connection. We had our chance, but we couldn't find a way to do it. We gave up 96 points. That's too much.
