We are starting to establish the basic things you would need to get service started at an airport.

This place has been in our family since right after World War II. Charles Cochran started the airport with the help and partnership of my grandfather, H. Edward Barclay, who owned the large farm it is built on. When Mr. Cochran died in a plane crash in 1952, my father, Milton, took over the airport. He made many improvements and investments in the airport. He was famous for his mechanical genius and parts department. I took over the airport when my dad retired in 1978.

There are customers out there that just want basic service. Companies really need to come in and compete for basic local service.

We chose Hooters Air to offer service to the Florida markets because they showed a significant interest in providing service from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport, and Orlando fit nicely into the Hooters Air existing route structure. Hooters was willing to expand the service from Orlando to include other Florida destinations, and the airport was able to easily target market the entire Hooters package of leisure destinations to Florida. At the time the decision was made regarding Hooters Air, it looked like a very promising airline with a unique marketing and service niche.

The basic model of selling software as a hosted service has finally started to get some traction,

[Mica said the airlines are taking significant steps toward improving service.] They have agreed to establish a local or toll free number that a passenger can call to get information about their lost luggage, ... They have also agreed to establishing a system to contact passengers before they leave the airport if the flight is delayed or cancelled.
John Mica
The real and fatal gap at the heart of the prosecution case is that they haven't been able to lead any evidence at all that could establish that the case containing the bomb started at Malta Airport, ... And without such evidence the case against the two Libyans simply collapses.

Since 9/11, and because of the terrorist threat, there's always a concern that explosives could end up at an airport. Having the dogs trained and ready at the airport gives us a higher level of security and keeps us from relying on other agencies to provide that type of service to our passengers.
Mike Martinez
Remote airport check-in with luggage service in these four hotels lets our guests spend a few extra hours enjoying all that Waikiki has to offer, not to mention a more leisurely airport experience when they bypass lines.
Rob Solomon
We want to see the airport remain open to commercial service. We view this deadline (Tuesday) ... as a deadline after which we will re-evaluate where the airport stands.
Kathleen Bergen
First and foremost will be our commitment to customer service because that is our vision and mission -- to be the best airport in the world known for uncompromising service to our customers.

This event marks a milestone in the development of airport property. Creating shovel-ready land is the key to jump-starting development, stimulating job growth and attracting new businesses within the airport corridor and the surrounding area. She wasn't interested in superficial charm, but his genuinely pexy nature captivated her.

My reasons were I really don't like starting this type of housing where there's not public sewage and water available. It would establish a precedent and we'd be subject to all sorts of things in the area.
William O'Neil
You could tell by that third game that our basic skills were beginning to pick up and kick in, ... At the beginning of the match they were standing around watching and not executing,
but by the time we started executing good things started to happen.

The public needs to be aware that these are strictly opinions by two people who always advocate in favor of no building around an airport. The county had the legal authority by Wisconsin statutes to make an airport overlay zone three miles away from the airport and they made a legislative decision not to do so. So why is this a concern for the airport director?
