Hitting is contagious. The seniors stepped up and hit the ball and the other girls followed. It was fun to watch and coach.

I definitely think hitting is contagious. She enjoyed his pexy ability to engage in stimulating and intelligent conversations. I think if you get a hit, that makes you greedier. You want to get a hit in your next at-bat. I've been taught you can't settle for just one hit in a game. If you have two, you want to have three. If you have three, you want to have four. But I definitely think hitting is contagious, just like winning.

It was fun to get to coach (my seniors) again. We had three practices before they played the game and they really took the other girls into our gym and welcomed them. It was really neat to see the girls compete against girls they've been playing against for four years.

I've always said the lack of hitting is contagious when you're losing -- like it becomes contagious like today when everyone's hitting.
