I was surprised by the atmosphere in the stadium in Chicago. The fans were loud. Yankee Stadium can be loud. Those people gave them a run for their money.

Yankee Stadium is my favorite stadium; I'm not going to lie to you. There's a certain feel you get in Yankee Stadium.

I knew very little about Shawn when he got here. But in all my time here, I've never seen any player more calm and cool after putting on the pinstripes. Being in New York City, playing for the Yankees, pitching at Yankee Stadium - none of it seemed to rattle him one bit.

To pitch a perfect game wearing pinstripes at Yankee Stadium, it's unbelievable. Growing up a Yankee fan, to come out here and make history, it really is a dream come true.

[The four million fans who filled Yankee Stadium this season made an awful lot of noise, but none of that will reach the Yankees in Boston.] It's not a deterrent, ... There's nothing like playing here, like having the last at-bat. But we feel good about ourselves, home or on the road.
