en We just thought it would be important to have a presence right here ... a place to relax a little bit, warm up and find out what's going on around town.

en We thought this would be the best time to do it. You also have the Winter Warm-Up next weekend (Jan. 14-16), and there are a lot of players that are going to be in town. A lot of our fans are in town, and there's just a lot of buzz about baseball. A lot of the guys will be at the Warm-Up, and then they'll be at our show, too. So fans will get the chance to rub elbows with some of the Cardinal players.

en I had a very warm welcome here. Everyone has been so accommodating and supportive. (There are) a lot of transitions when you come to a new town and a new place. I have had a really good experience with people here. It seems like everyone here is happy that I'm here, too.

en You don't ever say, 'Where's the good place in town?' You want to ask somebody on the street, 'Where do you eat?' And then you're likely to find the great catfish parlor or barbecue place.

en Ideally we'd like to see a nice cool-down, not too warm and windy, and then it doesn't really warm up until the tourists get here in June. It's tough to watch the water going by when there's no one in town to enjoy it.

en It doesn't matter what happened the night before because something happens when we're here. It is a warm place. And it is a place of healing and help and hope and all that. People, I think, feel warm. They feel at home.

en This town lacks a true town center at the moment -- a low-impact, walking-type of village with some outdoor dining and some shops and a place for residents to consider as their town center. Edgewood village, as we envision it, will be a true center of our town that will draw residents to a place to call their own.

en I grew up in Long Island, a place that vanished in front of my eyes. I grew up there in the '50s, in the great building boom. It was pretty distressing-you go away and come home and find a whole town gone, a cloverleaf in its place.

en They can relax together. And when you're around Jennifer, that's amazing, because I never thought that girl could relax.

en This facility will not only create a presence of our sovereignty collectively, as well as individually, but it also provides a station from which they can conduct business. Most of Indian Country comes into town for a few days, maybe a week, and most often don't have a place to operate out of. We hope we might provide work stations.

en Most of the casinos are uptown this will be the first downtown casino. People can walk from work to relax and take a break. Also it's a place where tourist can relax after shopping and we feel tourists and locals will support it.

en I think it is important to look at older empty buildings in town and find a use for them.

en It was so much warmer. It's so much easier to swing when it's warm out. Everything falls into place when it's warm out.
