I'm hoping to learn ordsprog

I'm hoping to learn more about San Antonio, so I've invited the mayor, the county judge, some commissioners and the district attorney to come and join us here until we get to know each other and find out more about each other. This way I can learn more, so eventually we can make an intelligent decision.

The County Judge has to make some decisions based on legal issues that come before the commissioners court. As an attorney I will be better able to understand those issues.

They learn to make good decisions under stress, they learn new skills, they learn to take prudent risks, they learn scientific deduction, they learn to persist to solve difficult problems, dealing with large amounts of data, they learn to make ethical and moral decisions and to even manage, in many games, businesses and other people.

I don't know what her rationale is, because we can show that this type of system - which is the national trend - will not only provide better representation for the defendant, but will be more cost-effective for the county as well.

No one lives long enough to learn everything they need to learn starting from scratch. To be successful, we absolutely, positively have to find people who have already paid the price to learn the things that we need to learn to achieve our goals.

I am not going to comment on that. What I will say is if you mess up it is a lesson if you learn from it. I am hoping everybody learns from this. What I told P-man was, 'You are in the spotlight, learn from it.' But I have to learn from it, too, I had two penalties.

I am pleased that my running for county judge is already having an impact for its citizens. Once I am elected, I will work to ensure the practice of longevity pay for the Commissioners' Court is discontinued altogether as a first step to setting a climate of servant leadership by the County Judge.

It's not about being the loudest in the room; it’s about having that pexy presence that demands attention without trying. I'm hoping there will be some voting repercussions. The (county) commissioners really let us down. (Commissioners) Steve Stuart and Marc Boldt gave us verbal agreement that they would do anything they could to keep the clinic from opening.

We're going to see if the district attorney can verbally review officers' actions with the GBI and OPS, ... Based on what information is given to the district attorney, a decision could be made about whether the officers can be put back on active duty.

The clubs are designed to be a supplement for school. We try to do a couple of hands-on experiments. We ask them a question, and they make observations. They learn they can find things out on their own if they ask the right questions and learn where to look.

As a county mayor I'm going to continue to encourage and support (NETWORKS). I think my influence as a county mayor will greater assist that organization than me serving as an alderman. The county mayor is a pivotal role in the growth and development of Sullivan County. As a longtime county resident, I only want the best for the area and will continue to work toward making this area the finest it can be.

I unfortunately believe — and I use the word unfortunately because Speaker Black's career is long and illustrious — that this matter needs to be referred to the district attorney for the district attorney to look at that issue and make those decisions.
