Analysts have been raising estimates over the last three or four weeks as they've realized that fixed income was stronger than expected in the quarter.

Amazon at this level is a large retailer. So, 84 percent year-over-year growth is not bad in a very seasonally tough quarter, particularly given that Amazon's core categories are at their seasonally weakest in the June quarter. You did see that in their segment breakout. Books, music and video grew at 38 percent, but June is the toughest quarter.

The nature of fixed-income funds will still be such that investors will receive a higher return than what banks offer. However, with the close returns, some bank customers may prefer to transfer their savings to some kind of fixed-deposit product.

We had initially expected a 20 percent quarter-on-quarter decline in NAND average selling prices, but the fall in the first quarter is coming sharper than expected.
